Your data belongs to you. We only use it to make AASCI work for you.
1. Who we are
AASCI (Asian Association of Students, Colleges & Institutions) is a not-for-profit registered in New Delhi, India. Our secretariat is at India International Centre, Lodhi Estate.
2. Data we collect
Registration details (name, email, university, country), payment metadata (never card numbers — handled by PCI-DSS processors), photographs at the venue, and analytics on this website via privacy-first tooling.
3. How we use it
To confirm your delegate status, issue visa letters, coordinate accommodation, publish delegate lists (opt-in only), and improve future editions of AASCI.
4. Sharing
We share the minimum necessary data with partner hotels, embassies (for visa letters) and payment processors. We do not sell your data. Ever.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@aasci.events. We respond within 30 days as required under India's DPDP Act 2023 and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
6. Retention
We keep event data for 5 years for reporting and alumni access, then permanently anonymise it.
7. Security
All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Our team receives annual security training. Incidents are disclosed within 72 hours.
